Apple is expected to reveal several hardware products this month. Previous reports suggested that the Cupertino-based company might reveal the next generation iPhone, MacBook Air 2016, Apple Watch 2 and the new iPad Air 3. However, new reports have emerged saying that the upcoming iPad Air 3 tablet may not come out this year as rumors are circulating that Apple will roll out the device in March 2017.

According to industry observers, the possible delay of Apple's new tablet might have been caused by iPad Pro 9.7-inch. Report says that as of the moment the company will focus on the iPad Pro release rather than the new iPad Air 3.

In a report by Macworld UK, Apple has decided not to release the iPad Air 3 because its specs and features are almost identical to the upcoming iPad Pro 9.7-inch. The new launch date of the tablet is being moved to 2017. However, the company has yet to provide specific details with regard to its development and release. According to the publication the new Apple tablet will most likely carry an aluminum chassis. Many fans also expect the device to come out slimmer and lighter than its predecessor.

Apple iPad Air 3 will run on Apple's new A10 processor along with its force-touch True Tone display. The same technology can also be seen on the new iPad Pro 9.7. The powerful processor is expected to be paired with a sizeable RAM. There are also speculations that iPad Air 3 will arrive in the market in three storage variants: 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB.

Meanwhile, in a report by The BitBag, the current iPad Air model is available with a $100 discount on eBay. The original price of the device was at $399 and interested buyers can now get it for a much cheaper price of $299. However, consumers should note that the price cut only applies for the Wi-Fi only variant.
