Game developer EA DICE recently revealed what fans can expect once the new "Battlefield" title comes out in the market. In a teaser video released by the company, the upcoming game appears to have a new set of weapons for players to use, which is totally different from ones used in the previous titles of the series.

According to a report by VG247, Julian Schimek, the game's lead weapon designer, said that his team has been working so hard to bring the best possible weaponry to "Battlefield 1."

"The weapons of Battlefield 1 are a bit more specialized," Schimek said. "To get the most out of them, you have to be aware of their strengths and weaknesses, and use the right one in the right situation. Putting your weapon to good use will feel more rewarding than ever before."

Each weapon in every category comes with customization options through "pre-set Loadouts."

"Most weapons will allow you to equip bayonets or alter their handling, as well as changing your weapons sights' magnification," the lead weapon designer added.

The game's weapons will be divided into six categories such as SMGs, shotguns, semi-automatics, sniper rifles and side-arms.

What's interesting is that game developer, EA DICE is said to have increased bullet velocity on all weapon classes, which the company claimed would speed things up. It will also make the gun battles more realistic and authentic. The company's goal is to bring players to the brutal reality of World War 1. These changes are certainly intriguing to both existing and new players of the series.

Meanwhile, fans can check the gameplay footage on the Battlefield 1 website. According to reports, a new "Battlefield 1" trailer will be released on June 12.

The highly anticipated game is set to be released on Oct. 21. It will be interesting for the millions of "Battlefield" fans all over the world how the World War 1 set up works for them.
