Netflix original thriller-drama TV series "Bloodline" wrapped up its season 2 back in May. And now several fans are looking forward to the third season. However, recent reports suggest that the show may never see the light of day again.

The speculations are based on the fact that Netflix has not announced a renewal for the show yet. "Bloodline" season 3 is hanging by the thread and reports suggest that it is less likely to ever come around because of some issues, particularly in the financial area.

The show, which centers on the dark life of the Rayburn family, is said to be having some monetary problems for its production. Aside from that, it has received mixed reviews from its audience and critics.

It can be recalled that the series garnered impressive reviews during the first season. The hype declined in the second season, though, when critics gave it low scores in spite of the positive response from the viewers. It's also said that the show was unable to earn the expected revenue.

Nothing is known for now with regard to the future of "Bloodline" but if it does push through with season 3, spoilers suggest that it will be putting a spotlight on Danny's (Ben Mendelsohn) son, Nolan (Owen Teague).

Fans may recall in the season 2 finale that the show ended with Nolan trying to fit in to the family. Teague spoke to Tampa Bay Times in an interview wherein he admitted that he is still not sure where his character will be heading to. He said he is hoping that Nolan will continue to do good things. He also mentioned that even though Nolan's father is no longer alive, he will still make an impact on his life.

Fans can only hope that "Bloodline" will move forward to season 3 to see more of Nolan's life. But until official announcements are made, fans will have to wait and see if the series will stay for another season.
