The military science fiction first-person shooter video game, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," will be getting its fourth and final downloadable content (DLC), titled "Salvation," early next month.

Activision confirmed that the "Salvation" DLC will first arrive on the PlayStation 4 this coming Sept. 6. A lot is in store for the gamers who will pick up the expansion. Some of the mentioned features include four new maps that will be coming with the pack. There will be two new original maps while the other two will be re-imagined versions from the previous games.

The first original map is called the Citadel which is an abandoned castle. Described as the old home of a powerful medieval army, it's a middle sized map that will provide unique player movement opportunities. The other original map is called the Micro which is a small map set on a well-stocked family picnic table.

Another map included is the Outlaw which is described as a western-styled re-imagining of the map, Standoff, from "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2." Last but not the least is the Rupture which features the "Call of Duty: World at War" classic map, Outskirts. The difference is that it will be a high-tech facility made by a futuristic society.

Aside from the new maps, the DLC pack will be coming with the campaign mission titled "Revelations," which is the final chapter in the Origins Zombie saga. It is detailed that it will be featuring the adventure of characters Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai. They will finally be able to step into The House where they will come face to face with Doctor Monty.

It's also said that they will confront the ancient and evil figure called The Shadow Man whom they will need to defeat in a final battle in order to save their immortal souls.

Confronted by The Shadow Man, the heroes must fight the undead hordes once more in the final battle to save their immortal souls. The "Salvation" DLC of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be part of the game's $50 season pass, and it can also be bought separately for $15.
