The much-awaited final installment of "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" downloadable content (DLC) is now live on PlayStation 4, along with four new available maps gamers can explore.

Titled "Salvation," the fourth expansion pack serves as the final chapter in "Revelations"—a part of the Zombies saga. The game mode enables players to take on the role of a shooter team while battling against hordes of zombies. "Revelations" features the four characters named Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai as they eventually reach The House where they meet the mysterious Doctor Monty, and end the ancient evil that haunts the undead.

Additionally, new maps for the multiplayer mode will be made available for gamers. The lineup features four areas to explore: two new locations and two re-imagined environments. "Citadel" is a mid-sized Medieval-inspired map which takes places in an abandoned castle, complete with drawbridges and narrow corridors. "Micro" is a picnic table map which makes players the size of bugs as the navigate through larger-than-life food items including giant bottles of ketchup. "Outlaw" serves as an old Western re-imagined version of the "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" map called "Standoff," while "Rapture" takes place in a high-tech facility which is a re-imagining of the "Call of Duty: World at War" map titled "Outskirts."

To date, "Salvation" is only available for gamers using PlayStation 4 â€” similar to the previous DLC releases. This is because Activision and Sony initially had an agreement on making the "Salvation" DLC exclusive to Sony for one month before it arrives on other consoles. After one month has passed, the expansion pack will soon be accessible for PC and Xbox One platforms. However, it will not be available for older consoles including the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The final expansion pack can be accessed through the season pass priced at $49.99 or by purchasing the stand-alone DLC for $15.
