'Miracle' experienced by Christians saved from terror militants as dust storm moves in

An underground ministry in the Middle East has reported that a group of Christians in the Middle East were miraculously saved from an attack by militants in the form of a dust storm.

According to Bibles for Mideast, the group gathered together in the Arabian sea to baptize 24 Christian converts after fasting and praying for three days. As many as 50 Christians, including the new converts, were present at the baptism service.

A new baptizer who goes by the name Rizwan said that the group boarded the bus after the service and they were on their way to the house church when militants started firing at them.

"Suddenly some militants reached behind us by three or more cars and started shooting with guns toward us," Rizwan narrated.

Rizwan said that the service was kept secret and speculated that the information about the event must have been leaked to the militants. He stated that the bus driver tried to drive fast, but the speed was matched by the militants. Rizwan narrated that the people riding the bus believed they were going to get killed and did not know what to do other than to pray.

"Suddenly we saw a giant dust storm formed behind our bus. At first we all afraid of seeing the dust storm. We thought we may not be able to go beyond and will be held by the militants," said Rizwan, adding, "Jesus saved us. He Himself blocked the road of militants in the form of a dust storm."

Rizwan said that they still heard gunshots but they no longer saw the vehicles behind them. He added that the group were joyfully praising and thanking God as they reached their destination.

Bibles for Mideast is committed to distributing Bibles and establishing house churches in the Middle East.

Last June, three of its missionaries were abducted upon their release from a hospital where they were treated for the injuries they sustained from a previous attack. The three men rode a taxi with two other passengers, but they were never heard from again.
