Rumors remain persistent about Maddie Ziegler returning to "Dance Moms" season 7 after the leaving the previous season, but it appears that the dance superstar is too busy for that.

Ziegler has been a very busy girl since leaving the show. In fact, she had other projects before she ultimately left "Dance Moms," where she is one of the original cast members.

The 14-year-old just finished her stint as the youngest judge in "So You Think You Can Dance: Next Generation" and began her very own clothing line last month.

Ziegler is looking to expand her new business after which she will tour the land down under with her younger sister Mackenzie Ziegler next year, which suggests that a "Dance Moms" season 7 comeback is unlikely to happen.

Ziegler recently spoke to Fashionista about her eponymous clothing line, which was inspired by her style that are not "too childish or too grown-up," which is most of what is offered for teens like her nowadays.

"Coming up in the spring/summer line—and the lines that will come after that, and after that, and after that — we're going to make sizes for people who are 15 to 23 years old," the dancer said.

"Right now, there's a bunch of kids wearing it, but it's going to be cool to see adults wear it. I made this line, not just for kids, but also for teens and young adults who really, really just want to wear and feel comfortable in it," she added.

"Dance Moms" season 7 is currently in production and it is believed that Ziegler's exit will further affect the show's ratings and viewership. Despite this, her return is a bit of a tall order right now.

As stated above, she will also be going on a tour in Australia starting January 2017 where she and Mackenzie will treat fans with some performances, Q&As and workshops with Marc Panzic of Dream Dance Company.

This means that Ziegler will be too busy to film for "Dance Moms" season 7. Additionally, reports about her purported return remain unfounded.
