'Days of Our Lives' spoilers, plot news: Shocking paternity test result; Aiden drops murder investigation

"Days of Our Lives" is returning this week with a major revelation that will surely shock every fan of the soap opera.

According to spoilers, Chloe's (Nadia Bjorlin) paternity test for her baby is going to reveal that Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) isn't the father. All this time, fans truly believed Deimos was the dad because he is the only person that Chloe has been with intimately.

Chloe did not want Deimos to know the truth about the child so Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) offered help to her. He claimed the baby as his just to shoo Deimos away. But Deimos isn't one who is easily kicked out of the picture so he demanded a paternity test to prove that the child isn't his.

That's when Chloe asked help from Kate (Lauren Koslow). She asked her if she could falsify the paternity results to keep Deimos away once and for all. Kate initially refused but she later on gave in to Chloe's request. But now things become complicated as the results Kate gave showed that neither of the two men were Chloe's baby daddy.

Chloe will be shocked and so will everyone else. Philip will be angry and will leave Chloe. As for Deimos, he will not believe that he is not the father. Deimos could still be the dad especially because Kate may have altered the the test just to get back at Deimos.

Spoilers also revealed that Deimos will tell Nicole (Arianne Zucker) about the results and this will lead her to conclude that Deimos badly wants to be a father. Learning that the child will really devastate him.

Meanwhile, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) will change his plans to investigate the murder of Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). He knows that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) did it but he will be willing to drop the investigation for a price. Spoilers detailed that Aiden will leave the town of Salem because he is a target of the three escapees from prison — but it seems like he wants to leave with Hope. Will Hope agree?
