'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' news, update: Latest patch update provides minor bug fixes; Future Trunks, Black Goku to be added in first DLC update

Bandai Namco's latest fighting video game, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," was just released a few days ago on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A few moments into the game, the Japanese game developer company has live issued new patch update recently to provide a few changes in the game's settings, as well as to fix minor bugs.

The latest Patch update 1.02 for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is said to include some improvements, game changes, and fixes for the earlier reported problems in the gameplay, The Bitbag reported. Specifically, Bandai Namco released the Patch 1.02 to roll out their plans for improving the loading screen, as well as to make the game more balanced.

As listed by the iTech Post, the patch notes of the recent "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" minor update include improved lag and sync when playing online, adjusting the necessary parameters to balance battle, shortened duration of loading sequence, changed default setting when making quick match and search, plus other minor bug fixes.

So far, the initial patch updates for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" since the game was released did not include any major changes. However, the online publication noted that Bandai Namco is expected to release a major update soon. One of the possible changes, particularly in the character balancing adjustments, is the inclusion of the Awaken Power form of Namekians and Male Majin fighters. Also, the first downloadable content pack (DLC) for the game is expected to include important characters from "Dragon Ball Super", including Future Trunks and Black Goku that the main players in the anime series' present story arc.

PlayStation Lifestyle reviewed "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," noting the positive changes over the first "Xenoverse" game. For one, players in Canton City will be able to summon a vehicle to get them to different places. However, the players' "Dragon Ball-based character still cannot fly around the game's main metropolis. Another interesting addition in the game is the character customization, where the players can go to different stores to pick clothes, accessories, or weapons that will suit their characters.
