Reports have circulated all over the Internet suggesting that Samsung has officially announced the upcoming Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5 2016 versions. According to the report both devices will be released in the tight Chinese market. However, speculations have emerged that Samsung may do a global release anytime soon on Galaxy J7 2016, which will run on a Snapdragon processor.

SamMobile has listed down the possible specs of the upcoming Galaxy J7, which is given the code name SM-J7109. Although the processor of the handset has been revealed, it is expected to come with Qualcomm's chipset, along with its 3 GB of RAM. Tech freaks are speculating that the latest model might come with a Snapdragon 617 processor. Although these pieces of information have already hit the Internet, the Korean tech giant has yet to confirm these details.

Nevertheless, it is reported that some of the features from the current model will be retained such as its 5.5-inch display, which has a full HD Super AMOLED screen at 401 pixel-per-inch density. The device is said to carry a 16 GB internal storage with an expandable option of up to 128 GB. The battery feature of the device will have a 3300mAh power, which is the same as the existing line.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy J5 is also reported to carry a 5.2-inch screen and will run on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, along with its 2 GB of RAM. Internal storage capacity of the Galaxy J5 will be at 16 GB, which will also be expandable with a microSD card. It is quite obvious that the J5, which will also be powered by a 3100 mAh battery, will be less powerful than the superior J7.

Both handsets are said to be released in four different colors – gold, black, white and rose gold. The two Samsung devices will also be running on a pre-installed Android Lollipop v5.1.
