Samsung may return big in 2017 following the issues it faced with its Note 7. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to have powerful specs that the public will soon forget the issues brought about by the Note 7.

Samsung may be on the verge of recovering big from its Note 7 downfall by launching the Galaxy S8. News emerged that the imminent device has an "all screen" feature, which will create another benchmark in handset technology.

In a report by Bloomberg, the "all screen design" will replace the usual design that touchscreen handsets feature. It is common for a touchscreen phone to have a black frame around its glass display. The frame carries features such as earphones, the home button, front camera and all other ports that are needed for connectivity. Samsung is believed to remove the black frame design and come up with a "bezel less" feature, which will be seen in Galaxy S8.

The South Korean tech company will apparently ditch the physical home button in exchange for a virtual one. The virtual home button is said to be located on the glass itself, at the lower section of the handset. However, it remains unclear whether the publication is pertaining to a capacitative key, which is also common in Android devices.

There may be some bezeled part left in the Samsung Galaxy S8 device, probably at the bottom of the handset. Xiaomi already launched the Mi Mix handset that has a black strip located at the bottom of the device. The device's design is said to be the one from which the Galaxy S8 will be patterned.

As for the Galaxy S8's specs under the hood, enthusiasts believe that Galaxy S8 will be packed with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835. This is said to be interesting as Microsoft recently announced its support for the chip to bring Windows x86 to ARN processors. If this happens, Galaxy S8 can now run a Photoshop application.

Other rumors include artificial intelligence (AI) enhancements and USB-C port, among others. It is slated for a March 2017 release.
