'General Hospital' spoilers, plot news: Sam is pregnant; Nelle and Logan are siblings?

Kelly Monaco plays Samantha McCall in "General Hospital" | ABC

Soap opera "General Hospital" is going to have another baby soon. Sam's hospitalization lead her to discover that she is pregnant.

According to spoiler reports, Sam will learn that she is pregnant again with Jason's baby. After such a long time of being separated, Sam and Jason will be a family once more with a new baby coming. But it's not a soap opera for nothing as spoilers suggest that Sam will have a terrible complication that could potentially put the baby's life at risk.

Sam and Jason will be both shocked with the pregnancy, but they both know that they have a bigger problem to face — Sam's health and the baby's safety. Meanwhile, a new character named Nelle, played by actress Chloe Lanier, is set to bring some mystery into the series.

As fans already know, Nelle arrived in Port Charles bringing some news. She claimed that she is the person that may have unknowingly donated a kidney to Josslyn. She said that her kidney was donated by her parents and used the money to prevent their home from foreclosure. But spoilers reveal that Carly will be asking her to prove that it was really her kidney.

Nelle may not take the demand and will decide to just storm off. But is the kidney issue the only purpose Nelle has in entering the story? Spoilers suggest that the new character may have some hidden agenda, especially since her last name is actually Hayes.

Speculations started swirling around saying that Nelle could be the half-sister of Logan as they have the same last name. But then again, it could simply be a coincidence, and the writers of the show just randomly picked up the name.

There's still a high chance, though, that she came to Port Charles to seek answers about her brother's death. She could also be trying to get close to Logan's father, Scotty. Since Nelle said that her parents are already dead, she could make use of a pseudo-family.

Fans will have to stay tuned to find the answers to this mystery. "General Hospital" airs every Monday to Friday on ABC.
