'Grey's Anatomy' season 13 news, spoilers: Amelia and Owen to have a baby? Ellen Pompeo says there's only one McDreamy

Now that Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) have sealed the deal and gotten married, could the two then take the next step and have a baby?

After many seasons of an on-again, off-again relationship, Amelia and Owen finally figured out that they want to spend the rest of their lives together and tied the knot during the season 12 finale. Will having a baby be the next big adventure for the two in "Grey's Anatomy" season 13?

In a recent interview with TVLine, Scorsone, who will return in the next season as the newly minted Mrs. Hunt, confirmed that Amelia, who comes from a big family, wants to have children.

"She remembers her pre-tragedy childhood with Derek and their sisters fondly, and I think she would want to recreate that kind of boisterousness in the house," the actress explained. "That's one of the reasons she wanted to move in with Meredith and Maggie — she likes a boisterous household!"

But after having gone through the loss of her baby in the "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off "Private Practice," could Amelia actually be willing to try and have another child?

While Scorsone admitted that she doesn't know whether or not Amelia will be able to face her fears and acknowledged that Owen has had his share of traumas, she said, "I think the intention is that they want to have children."

Meanwhile, with Nathan (Martin Henderson) poised to become Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) next significant love interest after the death of her husband, Derek (Patrick Dempsey), Pompeo has assured fans that Nathan will never actually replace her late on-screen husband.

"There will only be one McDreamy ever," the "Grey's Anatomy" star told TVLine. "You know, he's not replaceable."

She did, however, explain that this doesn't mean that Meredith won't be enjoying her relationship with Nathan. Yet, she insisted, Derek will always be her "one great love."

"Sure, you may have other relationships, and you may even marry again," the actress pointed out, "but everybody has that one great love."

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 is expected to air this fall on ABC.
