'GTA 6' release date rumors: Next game title to be released alongside new generation consoles?

Game developer Rockstar Games and its mother company, Take-Two Interactive, have already teased fans about their up and coming plans. It has been reported that they have already announced their intentions to develop more games in the future; however, these games have yet to be named. Now, many fans are wondering if "GTA 6" is included in their future projects.

The sixth installment of the open world online multiplayer video game has been in the rumor mill for a while now. Ever since "GTA 5" was released in September 2013, fans have been hoping for Rockstar Games to release a sequel as soon as possible. It has been rather disappointing for them as the company keeps their silence regarding the next title of the franchise.

Nonetheless, the current announcement from Take-Two and Rockstar has given many fans hope that the release of "GTA 6" is just around the corner.

Many expect them to give a list of games to be released in the next fiscal year. There are reports suggesting that Take-Two may also make an appearance at a pre-show media event hosted by Sony.

Meanwhile, Neurogadget reported that "GTA 6" might not be released in a few years. According to the publication, the game developer is planning to roll out the highly anticipated title along with the next generation of gaming consoles. It has reported that Sony and Microsoft have been planning to release new consoles in the next years to come. If rumors prove to be true, the game may not come out until 2020.
