"High School Musical 4" will reportedly reunite Troy and Gabriella, played by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. As per reports, the film will wrap up their love story with the couple tying the knot.

The last time fans saw Troyella, they decided to attend different colleges to pursue their dreams. Rumors have it that the fourth film will catch up with how the couple has been doing ever since.

If the reports are anything to go by, "High School Musical 4" will see Troy and Gabriella in a whole new light as they will be more mature than they were in the previous films.

Hudgens and Efron's return has not been confirmed. No official word has come out yet with regards to the actual involvement of the stars in the upcoming Disney Channel film.

When the film was announced, Disney Channel president Gary Marsh emphasized that the movie will follow a new batch of high school students.

"High School Musical is part of Disney Channel's DNA. It embodies all that we stand for," Marsh said when the film was announced in March as quoted by E! Online.

"As a way of continuing to embrace that heritage, we're excited to announce 'the start of something new' as we launch a search for a new class of East High Wildcats to star in a fourth installment of the High School Musical franchise," he continued.

"High School Musical 4" will not only focus on the East High Wildcats but also to their infamous rival school—the West High Knights.

The latter were only mentioned in the films and were shown as opponents of Troy's team during basketball games. Other than that, no story has revolved around them. This will change in "High School Musical 4."

There is also yet to be any announcement with regards to the rest of the original cast returning although Ashley Tisdale, who played the fabulous Sharpay Evans, has already said that she won't be back.
