Viola Davis, who plays lead star Annalise Keating on the show, said season 3 will revolve around a mystery that not a single cast member has been able to crack. She even described it as a "big, unbelievable mystery" that might see the tough attorney facing one of her biggest challenges yet. Now it looks like that butt of that mystery has been revealed.

According to reports, Annalise will find herself in a tight spot after posters of her with the word "KILLER" is seen in various places of Middleton University. As per showrunner Pete Nowalk, "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 will have Annalise and her Keating 5 trying to clear Annalise's name against the murder charge while tracking down the culprit.

Nowalk likewise said, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly (EW), that the premiere episode of season 3 will deal with Frank Delfino's (Charlie Weber) whereabouts. Moreover, Bonnie Winterbottom (Liza Weil) will find herself in a quandary as deals with tough questions in her mind and face Frank's betrayal of Annalise. She is Annalise's long-time associate, but whose side will she take, Annalise's or Frank's?

Meanwhile, EW confirmed on Wednesday that Queen of Hip Hop Soul and Grammy winner Mary J. Blige will be joining "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3. Details of the role have not been bared, but apparently, the latest preview for the series seems to hint that Blige's character will have something to do with the damaging posters of Annalise all over the campus.

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
