The race is on for the first hacker who can successfully develop a working jailbreaking tool to unlock the iOS 9.3's very tight security system. So far, it appears that Pangu is well on its way to do what other mobile tech experts have failed to accomplish in the past few months.

Pangu is a team of Chinese mobile phone hackers and jailbreak tool developers that have successfully unlocked the security code of the previous iOS versions. Unfortunately for the group, and for those who are wanting to personalize the settings of their iOS device, Apple may have already created a more secure system with the arrival of the iOS 9.3. Since then, neither Pangu or any other teams have succeeded in jailbreaking the current iOS version. However, Pangu has recently demonstrated the jailbreaking of the latest iOS 10, leading the public to believe that developing a working iOS 9.3. jailbreak tool is within the team's reach.

Pangu has performed the demo of the iOS 10 jailbreaking at the MOSEC event held in Shanghai just recently. The group has shown that Cydia is able to work properly even if it is installed in an iOS 10 device. While the demonstration is mostly concentrated on the iOS 10's system, the public could not help but wonder if the iOS 9.3.1 jailbreak will also be made available, as Pangu has already succeeded in unlocking the iOS 10. Forbes speculated that the release of iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak tool is, in fact, possible, and it is expected to be released on the internet within the week.

Many tech spectators believe that Pangu will be able to unveil the iOS 9.3. jailbreak ahead of the official release of the iOS 10. The progress of the team has been noticeable over the past few months, and there are signs that Pangu may already be getting there to develop a working iOS 9.3 JB tool. Still, Pangu refused to spill details about the possibility of an iOS 9.3 jailbreak being released to the public in the coming weeks. However, the team explained the security issues on iOS 9.3.2 that made them unable to create a working jailbreak tool.

No other hackers have successfully developed and released a jailbreak tool for iOS 9.2 and above. The Bitbag earlier reported that Apple might have finally outwitted the mobile hackers as they transformed iOS into a strong and "unbreakable" system.
