The iPad Mini 5 has been a favorite subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet for quite some time now. According to reports, the next generation iPad Mini will arrive slimmer than its predecessor. The iPad Mini 4 was considered as the thinnest tablet when it was launched by Apple in 2015. It has a 6.1 millimeters thickness that had amazed many people. However, the new iPad Mini 5 is expected to come out with a 5 millimeters thickness. Tech experts are wondering how it would fit its impressive specs in a device that thin.

The new tablet will also use the same technology applied on the current iPhone 6 called "bendgate," which is a type of 7000 aluminum body.

According to a report by Neuro Gadget, the upcoming iPad Mini 5 will run on an A9 processor and a 5124 mAh battery. The publication said that although the new tablet doesn't seem to have the best battery technology in the market today, it doesn't really matter as the A9 processor consumes less power than the iPad Mini 4's A8 processor.

Meanwhile, there are speculations suggesting that the iPad Mini 5 will carry the same 3D touch screen that rumored on the iPhone 7.

The device will come in three variants–32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.

According to reports the 32 GB variant will be available for $450 dollars, while the iPad Mini 5 with 64 GB onboard storage will be priced at $500. The 128 GB iPad Mini 5 is expected to come at $600.
