There is still no official announcement from Marvel Studios with regard to the rumored project; however, many fans believe that a fourth installment will still do well at the box office considering how fans received the last movie.

Downey's statement has sparked new speculations that the new movie could be on the works. The early success of the "Captain America: Civil War" is also a good indication that "Iron Man 4" is going to happen.

According to a report by Slash Film, Iron Man's Tony Stark will appear in the next Spiderman movie called "Spider-Man : Homecoming." According to the publication, Start will be on the movie to mentor the young Spiderman who will be played by the British actor and dancer, Tom Holland.

Rumor has it that in "Iron Man 4," Starks will battle it out with Spiderman. The rumor is started by Marvel fans basing it on the titles released by the comic books publisher on Free Comic Book Day. If rumors prove to be true, it will be interesting how the two action superheroes would look like on the big screen

Despite the excitement of many "Iron Man" fans about a new movie, there are several reports suggesting that the production company does not have any interest in doing it. The main actor himself even stated in his past interview that there will no longer be "Iron Man 4."

"In a way, it's Cap 3, but for me it's like my little Iron Man 4 and then it's back to the thing we all recognize," Downey said during an interview with USA TODAY. "Everything pulls over to the side of the road when the thunder of an Avenger thing comes through because that's how it us until it changes. If it changes."
