'Kingdom Hearts 3' release date, gameplay news update: New trailer video to appear at E3 2016?

The third installment of the "Kingdom Hearts" series has been in the rumor mill for quite some time now. Previous reports suggested that the action role-playing game will become the highlight of this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 for game developer Square Enix. However, new rumors have emerged saying that the highly anticipated game will not hit the event this year.

It is absolutely disappointing news for "Kingdom Hearts" fanatics who have been waiting for Square Enix to develop the second sequel of the franchise. The last installment was released more than 10 years ago and if rumors prove to be true, "Kingdom Hearts" players may have to wait a little longer for the new title to come out.

Square Enix has recently launched the new promotional trailer for "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue." The latest footage also contains several side titles of the game in HD such as "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance" and "Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage." It also includes the "Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover" in HD cinematic title.

"Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance" will be an exciting addition to the franchise as it features Sora and Riku doing several challenges to earn the Keyblade master tile. On the other hand, "Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage" features the adventure of Aqua. According to reports, the game will bring several points that will link to the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3."

According to Gamerant, the game will be released late this year for PlayStation 4. The game is said to tease fans with new details about "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Meanwhile, there have been speculations suggesting that a new "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer will appear at E3 2016. According to reports, the trailer will feature new characters added to the game from Disney worlds.
