"Kingdom Hearts 3" might be available on Xbox One in Japan after all. Just recently, a listing of the game popped up on the official Japanese Xbox website. However, this listing has now been taken down.

It was deleted reportedly because the leak might have prematurely revealed the Xbox One version. It was expected that the highly-anticipated action role-playing game will only be released to the PlayStation 4 in Japan.

However, it is now being rumored that the deletion of the "Kingdom Hearts 3" from the site means that Square Enix is no longer bringing the game to the Microsoft console.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, it is highly likely that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will not be released to the Xbox One, considering that previous iterations of the game in the console did not do well there.

However, the Square Enix site for Japan still lists the Xbox One platform, which hints that a version of the game there may not be entirely out of the picture.

Media outlets suggest that the listing was simply a result of a glitch on the website. Microsoft may have been preparing the announcement of the "Kingdom Hearts 3" for Xbox One.

The release date of the game is yet to be revealed, but the game is not expected to be released anytime soon as the focus will be on the prologue "Kingdom HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue."

Meanwhile, apart from Xbox One and PS4, "Kingdom Hearts 3" is reportedly coming to the Nintendo NX as well after a pre-order listing on EB Games was spotted.

"This item has never been available for preorder on our website. I would guess some amount of Photoshop was involved," EB Games Australia clarified.

However, it is still likely that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released on the new Nintendo console. With regards to the release date, an early 2017 launch is expected.
