Although many fans were happy that game developer Square Enix has finally announced the third installment of "Kingdom Hearts" video game series, some are disappointed that they will have to wait for another year before it arrives in the market.

Many fans believe that the third game title is already overdue since the development is said to have started 10 years ago. The announcement at the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 was followed by a confirmation that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will come out in April 2017.

The Kingdom Hearts Orchestra is also scheduled to hold a world tour next year from March 10 to June 24. There are reports circulating online that the game will likely to come out for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 earlier than expected. However, this has yet to be confirmed by the game developer.

In a report by Game Spot, Tai Yasue, the co-director of "Kingdom Hearts," revealed that players will experience a different game once the title hits the shelves.

"We're not adding any Final Fantasy worlds. A lot of the original [to Kingdom Hearts] worlds [Hollow Bastion, Traverse Town, e.t.c.] had Final Fantasy characters in them. At this moment, we are not really coming up with any plans for that, we're making original worlds and Disney worlds," said Yasue.

There are also reports suggesting that Sora, the main protagonist of "Kingdom Hearts 3," will not be paying a visit to any location from the "Final Fantasy" franchise.

Yasue also said that the company has gathered multiple ideas on how to make the third installment more exciting for the players. It will certainly be interesting how fans will receive the upcoming title.

Meanwhile, although a 2017 release has already been confirmed by the company, "Kingdom Hearts 3" may most likely arrive first in Japan before players from other countries can get their hands on it.
