Some of the cast members of "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 were present at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016. There, they shared some juicy details about the upcoming season, much to the delight of fans.

The cast of the DC series held a question and answer panel at the SDCC where they gladly answered questions regarding the upcoming installment's plot and the big bads that the Legends team would battle. Apparently, White Canary/Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) would be hell bent in exacting revenge against Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).

"I'm excited because Sara really wants to kill these people," TV Line quoted Lotz as saying during the show's SDCC panel. "[Malcolm] killed me, and Damien Darhk ... I'm very excited to get my hands on him."

It would be recalled that Darhk killed White Canary's sister, Laurel Lance.

The Legends team would be facing a quartet of enemies this season, including Darhk, Merlyn, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher). These four will form the Legion of Doom, according to Forbes.

Letscher will be joining "Legends of Tomorrow" as a series regular while McDonough's role would be recurring. Miller and Barrowman are expected to play out their newly inked overall deals with the studio.

"For season two, we decided that the perfect antagonist for TV's first-ever team of Super Heroes would be TV's first-ever team of Super-Villains, recruited from the ranks of Arrow and The Flash's deadliest adversaries," said executive producer Marc Guggenheim.

Nevertheless, these enemies won't be the only challenge the Waverider heroes would face. According to Phil Klemmer, the show's co-executive producer, the heroes are "almost victims of their own success." That is an arc in season 2 that would be worth anticipating.

It was also revealed during the panel that "Arrow's" Stephen Amell would be doing a cameo as Star City mayor Oliver Queen within the first few minutes of the show's season 2 premiere.

"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 premieres Thursday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. on The CW. Check out the teaser video for the upcoming season below.
