The LG V20  is rumored to arrive sometime next month. A few weeks before the anticipated big reveal of LG's latest and possibly their biggest smartphone offering yet, several reports regarding LG V10's successor have started to surface on the internet. The specs and price of LG V20 were already leaked, and basing on these alleged features, the LG V20 is shaping up to be a groundbreaking device.

Technobuffalo reported that LG is set to introduce the V20 early in September. The tech giant has no official statements yet for their next press event, but the rumors are rife that LG V20 will be finally unveiled during the first week of September. The actual release of the new LG smartphones will happen on September 23, although the online publication noted that this could only be a temporary date, meaning that a slight change earlier or later than that date is still possible. The unboxing of the device will happen on LG's big event on September 8, and the pre-order period of LG V20 is rumored to start eight days after the reveal. If the LG V20 unveiling does happen on Sept. 8, consumers may start pre-ordering as early as Sept. 14.

As for the LG V20's price, the latest reports claim that the device will cost $650 upfront. Upon release, the LG V20 will also be made available via T-Mobile's "JUMP! On Demand" program.

The $650 unit price for LG V20 may not be a bad news for the buyers, especially that the V20 is rumored to bring in a lot of firsts. Aside from the new Android 7.0 Nougat OS which will be sported by the device, the LG V20 is also expected to boast an improved audio feature through the 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC), Tech Times reported.

LG's partnership with ESS Technology to make the built-in quad DAC for their next smartphone possible was revealed last week. ESS Technology's CEO and president, Robert Blair, claimed that this partnership will bring out the world's first superior smartphone that will provide the best audio quality, and that is by using their company's latest DAC technology.

"We are extremely excited that our Quad DAC technology will be featured in the V20, LG's latest flagship smartphone for consumers who demand the best media experience. As a technology more typically available in high-end audio equipment, Quad DAC on the V20 will make users feel as if they are carrying around a professional home-audio system on their smartphone," Blair stated.
