Apple fans have been expecting that the release of the iPhone 7 this September will also come with the announcement for a new MacBook, but it seems that the announcement for the laptop has been pushed back to October.

Reports say that Apple has decided that the iPhone 7 will be released with another well-anticipated device, the Apple Watch 2. October will be the time the company decides to release any of their planned laptop devices like the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Apple is also rumored to have a new iMac in the works.

While the announcement for the devices will come in October, people who want to buy the devices can expect the products to hit shelves just in time for the holidays.

Though no official specs have been announced by Apple, rumors are saying that the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro have gone through a thorough makeover which improved their design and made them slimmer and much lighter. Apple is also said to be integrating a multi-functional USB Type-C port.

The MacBook Pro has also been rumored a never-before-seen function that will have a digital key display on the top row of the keyboard in place of the function keys. This OLED strip panel is said to change the function of its keys depending on the use of the device.

It's also rumored that the new MacBooks will also come with the 7th-generation Kaby Lake processors. Apple also reportedly chose to use AMD graphics processors for its laptops, particularly the Polaris-architecture GPUs.

As of now, Apple has not made any official statements regarding the specifications of any of the upcoming devices, but rumors have been rife online about the kind of tech that users can expect from Apple's latest products.

The new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are expected to be launched this October.
