"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Blazing" is the latest offering from the popular manga franchise. It will be a turn-based mobile game and will apparently be released on both Android and iOS operating systems.

Bandai Namco Entertainment, developer of said game, has previously announced that the upcoming installment will be much different from previous games. In particular, the game will offer a gameplay that would set it apart from other "Naruto" games.

According to Yibada, rather than engaging characters in one-on-one battles, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Blazing" would require gamers to form a team consisting of three characters before playing. The said characters will be from the original "Naruto" series.

The game will also feature the Ultimate Jutsu that characters in the game can use when the need arises. The Ultimate Jutsu allows for a power surge that may be used to defeat enemies. The game will be free, but in-app purchases would be made available to allow players to upgrade the game.

Meanwhile, Saiyan Island hinted that apart from the Japan launch slated later this year, Bandai Namco likewise filed an English trademark for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Blazing" in February. If all goes well, the game could have a Western release, perhaps in 2017.

Design & Trend reported that the "Naruto" series is currently the best-selling anime franchise for TV Tokyo, based on figures gathered from April 2015 to March 2016. The Japanese television station said that in that period alone, they made $134,777,000, which was a 74.4-percent increase over the previous period.

The franchise raked in over $45 million in profits for the station in that period, with only eight canon episodes aired. The rest of what was shown was mere filler episodes. The immense popularity of the "Naruto" franchise has increased Masashi Kishimoto's (the creator) net profit to $20 million.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Blazing" turn-based mobile game will be released in Japan on Android and iOS operating systems before the year ends.
