'One Piece' episodes 774, 775 spoilers: Zunisha fights back; is Jack really dead?

Zunisha, the elephant who holds the island of Zou on its back, has truly proven itself a force to reckon with. In the next episode of the long-running Japanese animation "One Piece," it's time for the Straw Hat Pirates and their new allies to show the millennia-old elephant some much needed TLC.

Momonosuke needed to only give the order, and with two strong swings of its trunk accompanied by an otherworldly cry of anger, Zunisha sunk Jack's entire fleet in one swoop. Afterward, the connection Zunisha seemed to have forged with Luffy and Momonosuke disappeared, and through the monkey mink Bariete's report, everybody found out what happened to Jack and his crew.

The Straw Hats quickly deduced that Jack, being a devil fruit-eater, had died after sinking into the water. However, they couldn't have been more wrong. Based on chapter 824 of the manga series, it will soon be revealed that Jack has survived Zunisha's attack and remains conscious and immobile at the bottom of the sea. Will the yonkou pirate Kaido, who was revealed at the end of the anime episode, have enough mercy and sense to send someone down there to retrieve Jack, or has Jack been cursed to stay in that state for the rest of his life?

Meanwhile, blissfully unaware of the threat of Kaido's forthcoming retaliation, the Straw Hat Pirates, the Minks, and the men of Wano will spend the next episode working hand in hand to treat the injuries sustained by Zunisha. The trailer for the episode titled "Save Zunisha! The Straw Hat's Rescue Operation!" features Chopper at the helm of an unprecedented major treatment project. With everyone lending their skills to speed up the operations, it will only be a matter of time before Zunisha is completely patched up in the best possible way.

Additionally, following the events of chapter 822 of the "One Piece" manga series, the Straw Hats and their new alliances will be splitting up into four groups to try and recruit more people into their army. Will they finally be able to go about their planned tasks, or is another unforeseen incident about to distract them again?

"One Piece" episode 775 airs on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 3:30 p.m. JST on Fuji TV. The screenplay for the episode was written by Hirohiko Uesaka, who was also the mind behind the 2009 movie "One Piece: Strong World."
