Despite the rumors that the second season of the massive hit anime series "One Punch Man" will not be released anytime soon, the latest reports suggest that the show will be released just on time. It is reported that the successful manga distributor and publisher, One, is now working hand in hand with the "One Punch Man" manga series original creator, Yusuke Murata, to proceed with the production of the second season.

According to the news website Yibada, "One Punch Man" Season 2 is currently entering the initial stages before official production begins. It is reported that One and Murata have already began finalizing the initial requirements needed to commence the production of Season 2. This is a proof that Murata is trying to keep his promise when he stated last December that he would be working on 100 sketches, 100 inked pages, and 100 storyboards with 10 hours of editing works per day in order to make the second season of "One Punch Man" happen.

The same report from Yibada also mentioned that the noticeable irregular releases of the "One Punch Man" manga chapters recently could be an indication that Murata is currently working on all the necessary preparations for the second season of the anime series. To note, the last canon chapter created by Murata for the "One Punch Man" manga series was released during the last week of March. The last manga chapter is titled "Dark Horse Part III."

On the other hand, the "One Punch Man" webcomic that is regularly released by One has encountered a halt. The last webcomic issue was a month ago, where the story was already tackling the "Civil War" of Earth's heroes. With this, it has now been speculated by the fans that One is spending more time with people involved in the anime adaptations of other popular webcomic stories suck as "Mob Psycho 100."
