The brilliant Thomas Shelby (Cillian Murphy) is just getting started, and his grandest scheme yet will unfurl into pure perfection in "Peaky Blinders" season 4.

"I think his family thinks that he's betrayed them. It'll be up to Tommy to demonstrate to them that he hasn't betrayed them and that he has a bigger plan," the actor continued.

"Peaky Blinders" season 4 will show what that master plan is. Tommy seems to be confident about what he has up his sleeves. He has got a lot of assurance if he risks the incarceration of his own family.

When "Peaky Blinders" returns to BBC Two for season 4, it will deal with the underlying questions of "what that bigger plan is. Who is he gonna call? What's gonna happen to the family? Can he ever get that level of trust or love back again?"

"Peaky Blinders" season 3 was a big season for the show. It even brought back Tom Hardy to play the role of Alfie Solomons. Fans believe season 3 ended with a mind-blowing, jaw-dropping manner making them want more.

"Peaky Blinders" has been renewed not only for season 4 but also for season 5. This shows that BBC Two is confident of the show's performance.

"The prospect of writing series four and five is truly exciting. This is a real passion project for me and I look forward to telling more stories of the Shelby family," creator Steven Knight said via Independent.

Murphy believes that Thomas Shelby's adventures see no end as the character himself does not have any plans on "retiring with a pipe and slippers" even if he gets all the money and power in the world.

"Peaky Blinders" season 4 is expected to premiere May next year.
