In terms of price, the "Persona 5" standard edition is worth $49.99 on PlayStation 3 and $59.99 on PlayStation 4. PlayStation 4 customers get a limited SteelBook launch edition for free if they opt to pre-order.

Additionally, Atlus offers a Take Your Heart collector's edition with the game placed in a SteelBook case, plus a "4-inch plush Morgana toy, a 64-page hardcover art book, a full-size Shujin Academy replica school bag, a soundtrack CD, and a collectible box" exclusively for PS4 users. The Take Your Heart Edition can be purchased for $89.99.

Persona 5 will be available for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on Sept. 15 in Japan. Next year, the game is set to arrive in North America for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on Feb. 14. Atlus PR manager John Hardin explained why there is a delay in the game's US release, saying: "The biggest factor in the 2017 release date is attention to detail. We're making sure every bit is in place. Persona has exponentially grown as a franchise, and considering this is our first numbered sequel since 2008, Atlus is taking its time to ensure this is the best possible experience."

As of now, Atlus has yet to announce a launch date for European territories.
