'Pokemon Go' December update rumors: release of Pokemon Gen 2 coming soon? PvP battle, trade interactions coming

According to the latest rumors, the much awaited Pokemon Generation 2 in Niantic Lab''s highly popular mobile gaming app "Pokemon Go" will arrive via the game's December update.

As reported by BGR, the mobile game developer may finally roll out the next "Pokemon Go" major update next month, and it will include a lot of huge game contents that will excite the fans. Aside from the list of new Pokemon in the original media's Generation 2, the December update may also include other extra contents such as new player versus player (PvP) scenarios. Rumor has it that the upcoming PvP rounds will be similar to those from the Nintendo Pokemon games.

Game N Guide reported that the upcoming 100 new Pokemon for the Gen 2 update have already been coded in "Pokemon Go." This info came from the data miners as they found out the names of the Gen 2 Pokemon that are rumored to be included in "Pokemon Go" in the near future. It is believed that it will only be a matter of time until Niantic finally activates the changes.

The online publication also speculates that among the new Gen 2 Pokemon to arrive in the game is the Legendary Pokemon named Tyranitar. The legendary Tyranitar is expected to be revealed next month, which is known to come from the God Tier. To note, this legendary pocket monster has maximum combat power of 3645.

The Gen 2 update is also rumored to add new contents that will affect the players' usual activities in the game. For one, the fans have been requesting for new ways to interact with their fellow "Pokemon Go" players. With this, Niantic may possibly include a new trading system to allow more player-to-player interactions.

Another possible new interaction is a battle system wherein two Pokemon trainers will be able to fight each other in a private match. A similar battle system already exists in the game in the form of gym battles, although a player versus player scenario sounds different and exciting compared to the usually boring gym battles.
