The anticipation for the big reveal of the PlayStation Plus free games for the month of June intensifies as the announcement date gets closer and closer.

PS Plus Community Manager nicknamed The Frannifer tweeted last Wednesday May 25 that the free games for PS Plus this June will be unveiled this week.

According to Gamepur, the PS Plus free games announcement will likely take place tomorrow, May 31 since it is a Tuesday. Since announcements usually happen at the end of the month, this is made more probable.

There's no word when the PS Plus free games for June will actually be available. Some say they might be delayed, but Sony doesn't appear to be concerned about something going wrong so PS Plus users should just sit back and wait for the announcement.

With regards to the games that will be part of the PS Plus lineup for June, there's a leak going around coming from Sony's weekly PlayStation newsletter pertaining to "NBA 2K16" being given away for free to PS4-playing members of the promotion.

Released October last year, "NBA 2K16" is the most recent installment of 2K Games' popular basketball simulation game. It is also deemed the best and biggest in the franchise.

The leak has not been confirmed authentic yet, but if the game will truly be part of the PS Plus free games list for June, it will easily be one of the biggest games Sony released in the recent months.

The other PS Plus free game for PS4 players this June, as per the leak, is "Gone Home," a first-person exploration video game by The Fullbright Company released in 2013.

The game follows Kaitlin Greenbriar as she investigates the disappearance of her family after returning home from abroad. The game was well-received by critics and fans alike.

There's no word on what the PS3 titles will be, but if the assumption is right, PS Plus members won't have to wait that long to find out.
