'Red Dead Redemption' release date news: New title is not expected to come out before April next year?

There is great news for "Red Dead Redemption" fans. GameSpot recently reported that the parent company of Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive has just announced that the company is working really hard for new games, which will reveal anytime soon.

The "Grand Theft Auto V" and "Red Dead Redemption" developer may have teased fans on the coming release of the highly anticipated open world, western action-adventure video game.

"Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon," said Take-Two Interactive in a report by GameSpot.

However, Take-Two Interactive did not mention the games they are currently working on, which leaves a mystery to many gaming fanatics.

The company has also claimed that business has been good in the past years. According to CEO Strauss Zelnick, many games under its development have been doing good in the market and have given them a huge increase in revenue.

"Fiscal 2016 marked the third consecutive year of stronger-than-expected Non-GAAP revenues and profits for Take-Two," the CEO said. " Our results were driven by the continued extraordinary performance of Grand Theft Auto V, ongoing momentum in our NBA 2K and WWE 2K series, the successful launch of XCOM 2, and our highest-ever revenue from recurrent consumer spending."

Meanwhile, Tweaktown reported that the second installment of the "Red Dead Redemption" franchise will not come out before April 2017. There are reports suggesting that the company already has a list of games that will come out in the fiscal year. Unfortunately, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is not on the list.

Previous reports suggest that the upcoming game will be titled "The Legend of The West," which is said to be a prequel to its original title.

As of now, all fans can do is wait for Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive to officially announce the highly anticipated second installment of "Red Dead Redemption 2."
