Another change behind the scene of "Sense8" will happen as executive producer and series co-creator Lilly Wachowski has been confirmed to exit the show.

Star Jamie Clayton recently confirmed in an interview with Buzzfeed News that Wachowski decided to bow out from the series, saying, "Lilly needed to take some time off." Lilly's sister and producing partner Lana Wachowski will now be in charge of the series alone. "Lana is absolutely a superwoman. The way she channels her energy and her creativity ... it keeps me in absolute awe whenever I'm in her presence. She's an absolute force," the actress added. The EP will use the time off to "focus on her well-being," but there is a possibility for her to return if the network greenlights a third season.

This is not the first unexpected shakeup in the series' season 2 production, as British actor Aml Ameen has been recast due to on-set conflicts with co-creator Lana Wachowski. According to reports, the two have been at odds since the initial table read in Berlin, which continued until the actual filming in India. Newcomer Toby Onwumere will now portray the role of Capheus, but since Ameen has already shot some scenes for season 2, it remains to be seen if Capheus' scenes will be re-shot.

"Sense8" is a science fiction series following the lives of eight strangers scattered around the globe who suddenly find a mental and emotional connection with each other. Capheus is one of the eight strangers inexplicably connected with each other, and he was introduced in the first season as a young man living in Nairobi. He works hard and does everything he can to fund the medication for his mother's AIDS.

As of the moment, Netflix has yet to announce an official premiere date for "Sense8" season 2, but the series will likely return to the small screen sometime next year.
