'Sense8' season 2 air date, spoilers: Cast teases new season will be 'so many things'

As the production for "Sense8" season 2 continues, the cast and crew of the hit Netflix series head to Chicago once again to film some scenes.

The cast members plan to mix play with work and plan to explore the place to take advantage of having been brought there for "Sense8" season 2 filming.

"This was my first time in Chicago. It is such a cool city," actor Max Riemelt, who plays the role of Wolfgang in "Sense8" season 2, told Chicago Sun Times, adding that the city "has everything."

The cast members visited 16 countries to stitch together "Sense8" season 2 and Riemelt, Clayton and the rest of the cast make sure they see the sights before they wrap up filming.

Meanwhile, actor Toby Onwumere, who will be the new face of Capheus after actor Aml Ameen was removed from the show, promised that he will do his own version of the character.

On what to expect in "Sense8" season 2, Jamie Clayton, who plays Nomi Marks, gushed that the new season, much like how Riemelt described Chicago, will have everything.

"It's fast, it's mad, it's amazing, it's sexy, it's raw," Clayton said as she described "Sense8" season 2. "Oh my god, it's so many things. There's so much action," he continued.

Terrence Mann, who will be back to terrorize the sensates as Whispers in "Sense8" season 2, revealed that the new season will be "about difference, and how difference terrifies some people."

"Terrifies them to the point of acting and reacting in the most heinous and pernicious ways — and we're living in it right now," the actor added.

The cast members also promised that "Sense8" season 2 will definitely shed more light on the past of the sensates.

Travelling mentally will be brought to a whole new level with the group being able to travel mentally from past to present due to their connections to sensates from earlier eras.

"Sense8" season 2 premieres early next year, although a special episode is set to air this December.
