'Star Wars Battlefront: Bespin DLC' release date news 2016: EA DICE leaving out some exciting features

Fans are on the edge of their seats as they wait for the release of the Bespin DLC for "Star Wars Battlefront."

But before more expectations could arise about what the DLC has in store, gamers should know this early that some features they expect to see won't be included.

The "Star Wars Battlefront" Bespin DLC is not giving fans a view of the cockpit of an AT-AT. Developer DICE tried to add one, but they found it too awkward as it moved along with footsteps of the characters. With the issue appearing to be unfixable, DICE decided to leave it out.

With regards to what's actually being added in the game, it was already announced that Lando Calrissian will be one of the heroes included in the "Star Wars Battlefront" Bespin DLC. The other one is the cold-blooded bounty hunter Dengar.

The expansion pack will include four maps all set in Cloud City, where most of the action in the "Empire Strikes Back," where the "Star Wars Battlefront" Bespin DLC is based.

It will also have fun nods and easter eggs in the form of the carbonite chamber, where Han Solo (Harrison Ford) spent most of his time in the film. There will also be Fighter Squadrons ready for takeoff.

When it comes to the weaponry, a new leak revealed that "Star Wars Battlefront" Bespin DLC will bring along a Relby-K23 Blaster Pistol, the gun used by the Cloud City guards.

"Star Wars Battlefront" Bespin DLC is expected to be released on July 12. Season pass holders will allegedly get access to the new content two weeks early—that's June 25.

A patch will be released to eliminate issues and glitches that plagued "Star Wars Battlefront." The most glaring issues to be addressed have something to do with selecting heroes and when all four heroes are shown.
