Castiel has come a long way from being the all-powerful angel that he was when he was first introduced in the series. After losing his angel power, he becomes a vessel for Lucifer himself. Well, Misha Collins, who plays Castiel on the show, says that Castiel is angry, and he will be out to fix things in the upcoming season.

It seems that Collins has been revealing a lot about Castiel since the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) last month. In an interview with Blastr during the said event, the actor said: "We are actually starting off season 12 with Cas kind of angry and kind of determined to fix things. It's kind of badass Cas again, like way back from season 4. And It's fun to play with, I think for a long time Cas has been kind of broken," said Collins.

The actor then goes on to say that Cas is on a mission, and he is "not broken." He then continues, saying that whenever a character is "broken" on the show, they don't really stay that way. Fans of Castiel will be happy to see that the fallen angel will be on a path to restore himself to his former glory.

In other news, "Supernatural" fans will also get to see more of the Winchester brothers' mother, Mary Winchester. Mary will be played by actress Samantha Smith. In an interview during the SDCC, the actress told Enstarz, "I don't think she knows where she is, what's happening, why am I here? I was on fire a minute ago, what is going on?"

Mary was brought back to life in the season 11 finale, and it seems that one of her sons, particularly Dean, is not entirely sure about trusting the resurrection of their "mother."

"Supernatural" season 12 will air this coming Oct.13, 2016 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
