'Switched at Birth' season 5 spoilers, plot news: One couple set for divorce?

Although "Switched at Birth" season 5 will be the show's last, it appears that a big trouble awaits one couple, a problem that might be too tricky to solve.

In the season 4 finale of the hit family drama, Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc), who started their new lives in China, got a call from home.

Although it was not revealed who called, the speculation is that the call has something to do with Kathryn (Lea Thompson) and John (D.W. Moffett).

It is rumored that in "Switched at Birth" season 5, talk of divorce between the two will happen and Bay and Daphne were called to help out.

However, there are also reports that John's health condition has worsened and that he needs his daughters by his side. Either way, there will be trouble in "Switched at Birth" season 5.

Either way, fans won't be left wondering by the time the credits roll off in "Switched at Birth" season 5. As Marano promised during a chat with Just Jared, she will end

"This entire season has a lot of returning story lines actually. We left a lot of loose ends open last season so now we're tying everything together," the actress revealed.

" There's a lot of... it's very much like a new year because so much time has passed and the girls are at these new places in their lives," Marano added.

"You have to revisit stuff to just show how much time has actually passed," she continued, which is exactly what they will do in "Switched at Birth" season 5.

With that subject in mind, some fans expect that Bay's relationship with Travis (Ryan Lane). Although some fans think a new love interest with Bay will come along, others believe that she will reunite with Travis.
