'Teen Wolf' season 6 spoilers, plot news: Stiles to figure in love triangle? Theo shows different side of him?

Fans of "Teen Wolf" have long clamored for "Stydia" to happen. Now that the MTV series is in its final season, would it give in to its loyal viewers' request? It looks like it.

Dylan O'Brien, who plays Stiles on the series, figured in an accident while filming "Maze Runner: The Death Cure," and fans thought they've seen the last of him on "Teen Wolf." Nevertheless, showrunner Jeff Davis gave the assurance that O'Brien would be back for the final season and even teased of a possible hook-up with his unofficial love interest, Lydia (Holland Roden).

The Stydia pairing has been a long time coming, and their failure to connect could have been due to Lydia's conflicted emotions. Nevertheless, Fashion & Style reported that the sixth and final season of the series would focus on the relationships of its main characters, romantic and otherwise.

Apparently, the upcoming season might finally see Stiles and Scott (Tyler Posey) fixing their damaged friendship and having a better bond. Roden likewise teased that the future could be bright for Stydia.

"There's more to come, but I think Stydia fans will be pleased," the actress told TV Equals.

What about Malia (Shelley Hennig), who is Stiles' ex-girlfriend? Would Stydia be figuring in a love triangle with her? Roden didn't give a definite answer, but she did Malia might react differently once the Stydia relationship goes up another level.

Meanwhile, fans might get to see an entirely different side of Theo Raeken (Cody Christian) when he makes a Beacon Hills comeback in "Teen Wolf" season 6.

It would be recalled that Theo was the one who turned Scott against Stiles. He also tried to kidnap Lydia and killed members of his pack to steal their powers. He didn't show any signs of remorse as he was doing such atrocities, but according to Zap2it, Theo might be turning over a new leaf in season 6.

"It's still going to be Theo," Christian said. "It's still going to be the guy that we love to hate, however, there's going to be this level of humanity towards him ... There's just a new side, this vulnerability that's there, and it's present. So, I'm very, very excited to share that."

Would Stydia finally happen? Would viewers be seeing a better Theo this season? Those will be answered when "Teen Wolf" returns to MTV for its sixth and final season on Nov. 15.
