The much-awaited fighting video from Bandai Namco, "Tekken 7," is expected to arrive in the early months of 2017. However, there is still no exact release date for the latest installment in the highly popular "Tekken" franchise. Many fans are already hyped for the new exciting gameplay and characters in the game, and they have been looking for the details of its release. According to the latest rumors, the launching of "Tekken 7" is already set in February 2017.

According to WCCF Tech, a known game leaker in Twitter known as Wonkey revealed in his recent tweet that Bandai Namco has already locked in a date for the release of "Tekken 7." According to his own reliable sources, "Tekken 7" will be released in PlayStation 4 in February next year. However, as Bandai Namco itself has no official announcement regarding the exact release date of the game, some people are still skeptical about Wonkey's information. Nevertheless, "Tekken 7" is expected to arrive within the first quarter of 2017, thus giving more confidence to the rumored Feb. 2017 release date of the game.

On the other hand, as "Tekken 7" will be released on different gaming platforms, there have been talks regarding a possible cross-platform gameplay setting. However, Bandai Namco and "Tekken" game producer Katsuhiro Harada do not seem open to this idea. As reported by Segment Next , Harada revealed in an interview that they would not like to take the risk of widespread hacking and data mining if they push through with a cross-platform gameplay for "Tekken 7." Therefore, the chance of it happening remains low at this point.

Aside from the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platform, "Tekken 7" may also have an exclusive version for the newly-unveiled PS4 Pro. As the revamped version of the PlayStation 4 will be packing new graphics features, it will be necessary to redevelop the game for it to adapt to these new contents. Yibada reported that the "Tekken 7" in PS4 Pro is possible, although it is still not confirmed when it is going to happen.
