Bethesda has not yet issued an official announcement about the development of the much anticipated "Elder Scrolls" game sequel. There is no confirmed report yet regarding the next game title of "The Elder Scrolls 6," more so the expected release date of the new "TES" installment. However, rumors are rife that Bethesda will be launching a new "Elder Scrolls" video game in the coming years, although the fans cannot expect that it will arrive anytime soon.

Game enthusiasts were expecting that "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be included in the presentation of Bethesda at the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 earlier this month. Unfortunately for the fans who patiently waited for an "Elder Scrolls 6" mention, Bethesda made no announcement for an upcoming "TES" game title. Still, there is hope that the game developer company will be working on it sometime in the future.

As reported by Kitguru, "The Elder Scrolls" series director Todd Howard revealed that Bethesda is actually working on the next installment of the highly popular franchise. However, the company could not start with the production stage of "The Elder Scrolls 6" right away, and the public cannot expect anything from Bethesda regarding the new "Elder Scrolls" game title in the near future. Moreover, Bethesda is reportedly creating two more game projects before they can proceed with the development of "The Elder Scrolls 6."

Also, Bethesda's vice president of PR and marketing, Pete Hines, shared more information regarding the rumored "Elder Scrolls" game via IGN, and he revealed that the projected size of "TE6" is so large that it will be the equivalent of "Fallout 4" and "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim." With this, Hines stated that a game project as huge as "The Elder Scrolls 6" would take many years to finish once the production stage has already begun.
