'The Incredibles 2' release date, plot news: Dash becomes a villain due to sibling rivalry?

According to a report from news website Yibada, a Parr sibling is likely to go villainous as his other sibling becomes the family's favorite, making him feel left behind.

According to the latest plot predictions on the internet, "The Incredibles 2" villain will be the second oldest Parr sibling, Dash. His constant longing to live a life where he would no longer limit his powers just to be accepted by regular human beings will drive him towards the mischievous path. He will get tired trying to fit himself in a world where non-regular people with special powers are deemed as a threat. He will also find his father's recognition of his mischievous ways in the first film as additional motivation to become a bad guy.

People in the Reddit forums are also discussing the possibility of a Parr child being the new villain. As stated by Reddit user Professor_Wonder, Dash might not be able to get through the "rebellious teenage period" too well, and his fondness of his superhuman abilities will cause him to turn to the dark side.

However, the power of Jack-jack, whom Dash is expected to develop animosity, will not be copied by the special suit. This may be due to the unpredictability of Jack-jack's power.

On the other hand, Cinema Blend reported that the villainous Parr sibling in "The Incredibles 2" may actually be Jack-jack as he will be mind-controlled by the villain of the first film, Syndrome.
