Jules Wainstein has finally confirmed that she won't be joining the upcoming ninth season of Bravo's hit reality show "The Real Housewives of New York."

Her departure, which was reported by multiple media outlets earlier this month, comes on the heels of her separation from husband Michael Wainstein, who allegedly cheated on her. In an interview with The Daily Dish, the mother of two finally broke her silence on the issue and shared her thoughts on leaving the show.

Although she's going through a very tough point in her life, Wainstein remains optimistic about what lies ahead for her. "Overall, it was a great experience," she said. "I learned so much about myself. I learned so much about the ladies.... I learned different things from each and every one of them... I feel empowered; it's a show about women. Listen, I'm going through the worst time in my life, but on the other hand, life isn't over and even though I'm 35, it could be the beginning."

Jules recently attended Stanton Social's 10+1 Anniversary celebration with co-star Bethenny Frankel, where they both got candid on Luann de Lesseps' upcoming wedding and what's next for their personal lives.

On the topic of Luann's engagement to Tom D'Agostino Jr., which previously started a huge fight between Luann and Bethenny after she revealed photos of Tom kissing another woman, Bethenny said she will just take the high road to avoid future confrontations.

"I think Luann's marriage is Luann's business," Bethenny told E! News. "I did what I thought was right. I would do it again for another friend—not necessarily Luann because I've realized that she doesn't want to know. But I wish her all the luck in her marriage." To date, Dorinda Medley is the only star in the series to be invited in Luann's New Year's Eve wedding.

Regardless of Luann's controversial relationship, Jules said she still supports her friend. Moving forward, Jules shared to the publication that her future certainly holds "a lot of unknowns," but now her priorities include being a mother to her two children and focusing on her business Modern Alkeme.

Bravo has yet to announce a premiere date for "The Real Housewives of New York" season 9.
