"The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus may be promoting his upcoming biker series "Ride With Norman Reedus" but there's just no getting away from questions about the season 6 finale of his other AMC series, "The Walking Dead."

In a recent interview with IGN, the actor assured fans that the season 7 premiere episode, which will pick up right where the cliffhanger ending of season 6 left off, will be worth the wait. Reedus also said that all questions fans have about the finale will be answered in season 7.

"This season that we're doing now is going to answer every question, and it's well worth the wait," he said.

Responding to fan reactions about the finale, the actor said that he takes all criticisms — positive and negative — as a compliment. The cliffhanger-y season 6 finale, which left "The Walking Dead" fans in the dark about who among Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) group was Lucille'd in the episode's climactic moment, angered hordes of viewers back in April.

According to Reedus, he understands the anger and disappointment as he himself has been "pissed off and wanting to throw something through the TV." However, he warned fans, when they finally get the answers they've been waiting for in season 7, they may wish that they hadn't.

"Sometimes you want things to happen, you don't want things to happen, and they happen, and you're like, 'DAMN!'" the actor said. "So, you know, just be ready."

During the interview, Reedus also spoke about wanting to stay silent about future episodes of "The Walking Dead," saying, "[I]t's very precious to us, what we're doing."

He expressed the same in an interview with TVLine, in which he explained that he doesn't like talking about the season 6 finale because of the fact that the episode marked the departure of one of his co-stars.

"We're a very tight-knit group down there [on location in Georgia], and we take it very personally, because we're in it and living it," he said.

The seventh season of "The Walking Dead" will debut in October.
