'The Young and the Restless' spoilers, plot news: Chelsea plans revenge; Lucinda passes away

The upcoming episodes of "The Young and the Restless" are going to be high in emotions and mysteries as Adam's reported death will shake the whole gang.

Fans may recall from last week that an explosion caused Adam's demise. The one responsible for the chaos is yet to be revealed, but Chelsea is pointing her finger at Victor. Spoilers suggest that Chelsea will be plotting revenge against Victor even though nothing has been confirmed yet.

She is devastated by the loss, and she wants nothing else but for someone to pay for her husband's untimely death. Chelsea will be lashing out on Victor, and at the same time, she will try to clear up her name because the authorities are after her. She is being accused of hiding Adam.

And while Chelsea is putting the blame on Victor, Nikki will be defending him. Nick, on the other hand, will be trying to keep the family together. Victor will be firm on his claim that he is not the one who killed his son, and he suspects that Chloe is the perpetrator instead.

But Chloe will come to him and reveal the series of events that took place before Adam got mysteriously killed.

Adam's death isn't the only one that fans will be bawling out about, though. Spoilers revealed that Lucinda will pass away this week.

Fortunately, Neil will be able to visit his mother before she gasps for her last breath. After learning that she has little time left, he immediately came to spend some emotional moments with her. Lily, Cane, Devon, and Hilary will be concerned about Neil, but they will be there for him to support him while going through this difficult time.

Neil and Lucinda will be talking about a lot of things, including things about Neil's family. Lucinda will then grow weaker, and eventually, she will pass away. Neil will be heartbroken with the death of his mother, but spoilers noted that he will be connected to her one last time through a letter inserted between the pages of her bible. Neil will be heading to the pool bar to read it.
