"The Young and the Restless" is returning for the week of Sept. 5 with some really sad vibes. Adam is presumed dead, and his loved ones are grieving. But fans know that major plot twists are going to take place soon.

Victor is getting the blame for his own son's demise, but according to spoilers, he will be getting a lead to prove his innocence. Chloe will be approaching him to talk about an important information regarding Adam's disappearance. Apparently, she knows something that nobody else knows.

Though Victor will initially want to rip his former partner, Chloe will urge him to save it because she holds the truth about what happened the day that Adam died. She will reveal to Victor that she did shoot Adam with a tranquilizer. And although she initially planned to watch him die, it seems like she had a change of mind.

She will then tell him about how she saw someone near the cabin and insist that the mysterious person had something to do with Adam's disappearance. Whoever that person is, Victor will be interested to know more so that he could clear his name and stop Nick from accusing him of the explosion. Victor is worried about his son to the point that he will even be teary eyed finding out about his fate.

Meanwhile, spoilers say that Chelsea will be devastated about Adam's death. And things have even gotten out of control because now, the cops are after her. Paul and Dylan have accused her of accompanying Adam in flying out of the country.

Chelsea is clueless about this, though, and is worried for her life and for their son Connor. At the same time, she is angry at Victor, and it is said that she plans to seek revenge towards him. She blames him for all the misfortunes that her family has gone through. She will plot a scheme that will surely make Victor pay. She is still to find out, though, that Victor isn't the real perpetrator.

"The Young and the Restless" airs every Monday to Friday on CBS.
