As Marvel fans know, the last time Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) were in the same place, things didn't end up so well for Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) adoptive brother.

Now, with the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok" said to be a buddy movie of sorts between Thor and the Hulk, fans are eager to find out how the green-skinned Avenger and the villainous sorcerer will treat each other when they inevitably cross paths in the third "Thor" stand-alone film.

During a panel for "Thor: Ragnarok" at Wizard World Philadelphia, Hiddleston spoke about the highly anticipated film and teased the next face-to-face encounter between the Hulk and Loki, as reported by ComicBook.com.

"[L]ets not forget that it's no secret that um, that the Hulk shows up in 'Ragnarok,' and um, the last time Loki and Hulk were in the same room didn't go very well for Loki so, he's got a few chips on his shoulder, but um, yeah, it's fun, you'll see," he said.

Hiddleston also spoke about his character, saying that he was excited to reprise his role as Loki because he was interested in finding out how the villain's attitudes have changed. Because Loki has always been a trickster, Hiddleston said that he tried to find new ways for the character to be mischievous.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth said that the new "Thor" installment will be tonally different than what "Thor" fans are used to.

"I think tonally it's a big shift in a great way, more than anything we've seen before," the actor said during the Wizarding World panel.

Hemsworth cited the "comedic talent" of "Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi as the reason for the shift, but also said that the change is due, in part, to Thor and Loki being at least four years older than they were in the previous installment.

"[I]t's a very different Thor, it's a different Loki," Hemsworth said. "[W]e go off on another world that we haven't experienced before."

"Thor: Ragnarok" hits theaters Nov. 3, 2017.
