There's too much pressure on "Watch Dogs 2" to succeed and even outclass its predecessor especially the gameplay, world and protagonist of "Watch Dogs" failed to deliver. Now Ubisoft is banking on this latest offering to redeem themselves and cement the franchise's future.

Word about "Watch Dogs 2" came out months before Sony's Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016, which was held last June 14-16 in Los Angeles. The game was met with mixed reactions when it was finally unveiled at E3, and while those who were able to watch its trailers and walk-throughs believe the game does hold much promise, some are not satisfied with its gunplay.

The Bitbag reported that while all elements of "Watch Dogs 2" were amazing, the gunplay looks pretty much like it did in the original game. Apparently, some fans were expecting that firefights would be up to par with "Uncharted 4," but the gunplay felt like it didn't have much weight.

Gunplay aside, "Watch Dogs 2" seemed to have amped up on the hacking part and toolset features. Moreover, some users who tried it out at E3 claim the gameplay is much faster compared to the first one. It also looks like the protagonist, Marcus Halloway, has gained quite a number of followers in a short span of time. He's a member of an anonymous hacktivist network called DedSec, a parkour master, and has a black belt in martial arts.

According to Digital Spy, "Watch Dogs 2's" world – San Francisco – is much larger and more diverse than its predecessor's Chicago. They also noted that the game's driving has vastly improved, and players can now hack vehicles and bikes, allowing them to navigate them remotely. More importantly, the hacking aspect of the game has evolved completely.

The game is set for release in November, but this early, fans can pre-order the game. Steam offers three pre-order options for it – one that comes with a Zodiac killer-themed extra mission ($59.99/£39.99), one that offers two Deluxe Packs with valuable extra content ($69.99/£54.99), and the gold edition that comes with full access to DLC and add-ons ($99.99/£69.99).

"Watch Dogs 2" is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Nov. 15.
