A lot of gaming fans and tech analysts have been following the developments of the rumored Xbox Two by Microsoft Corporation. However, the electronics giant has not provided a confirmation or any details about its latest console ventures. Still, rumors are rife that Microsoft will eventually reveal the Xbox Two to the public, and that day may already be near as the new Xbox model is expected to be unveiled during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 this coming June. This move is seen as the company's answer to the rumored launching of Sony's PlayStation 4.5 this Fall.

The E3 event is the venue of all the big announcements of companies in the world of gaming and technology. It will not be surprising if Microsoft chooses the event to reveal the big Xbox news, especially that the competition among the gadgets is heating up. According to the latest rumors, Sony is planning to release their newest console, the PlayStation 4.5, in September. To note, the rumored PS4.5 is not an entirely different model from the company's latest generation of console. PS4.5 is expected to be an enhanced version of PS4 with the features mostly focused on graphics and screen resolution. It is reported that PS4.5 will sport 4K resolution.

Meanwhile, the Xbox Two is expected to be a different entity from Xbox One and it will not be an "Xbox One and a Half." As early as now, there are speculations that Xbox Two will be the first in the Xbox series to boast VR capabilities. According to Forbes, Microsoft will most probably release a new Xbox console especially that Sony is reportedly launching a new console of their own. One of the advantages of the Xbox Two over PS4.5 is that the console will be an entirely upgraded version of a previous model. It is expected to step up the game for the Xbox brand and set new standards in the electronic gaming world. Also, Xbox Head Phil Spencer said so himself that he prefers to see changes in the current Xbox if the company is ever to release a new console.

"I'm not a big fan of Xbox One and a half. If we're going to move forward, I want to move forward in big numbers," Spencer said in an interview with GameSpot.

"For us, our box is doing well. It performs, it's reliable, the servers are doing well. If we're going to go forward with anything, like I said, I want it to be a really substantial change for people–an upgrade."
