Microsoft has yet to confirm anything with regard to the rumored Xbox Two. The next generation console has been a favorite subject to numerous speculations all over the Internet. New report suggests that the upcoming device will be more powerful than Sony's PlayStation NEO 4K.

According to reports, Sony has planned to release an upgraded version of the current PlayStation 4, which is dubbed as PlayStation 4.5 or PlayStation NEO 4K. Apparently, Microsoft does not want any of that and said to have decided to do a full upgrade on their next console.

Phil Spencer, the Microsoft's Xbox head, recently said during an interview that the company does not currently have any plan of releasing new consoles. However, he made it clear that if the Microsoft decides to do an upgrade, it will not be the rumored Xbox One Slim.

"I'm not a big fan of Xbox One and a half. If we are going to move forward, I want to move forward in big numbers," Spencer said in a report by Game Spot. "For us, our box is doing well. It performs, it's reliable, the servers are doing well. If we're going to go forward with anything, like I said, I want it to be really substantial change for people — an upgrade."

Meanwhile, the rumored Xbox Two will have no problems running video game at 60 frames per second rate. It will also have 4K support, which is said to be the next best thing in video games development. It will also have backward compatibility features, which is important for many game developers.

According to a report by Gamenguide, Xbox two will carry a much-improved GPU, which will be better than Sony's PlayStation NEO.

If rumors prove to be true, Microsoft could launch the next generation console at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in June.
